Who we are

What information we collect

We only collect what we need to price and carry out your job:

• Your name, telephone number and, where given, your email address.
• The postcode or address of the property the work relates to.
• Details of the work you are enquiring about, including any photographs you send.
• Any correspondence between us: calls, texts, emails and messages sent through the enquiry form on this website.

How we use it

Your information is used to respond to your enquiry, arrange a visit, prepare and send your quote, carry out and invoice for agreed work, and to deal with any guarantee or aftercare matter that follows. We may also keep records where we are required to for tax, insurance or legal purposes.

We do not sell your details, and we do not pass them to third parties for marketing.

Legal basis

We process your information because it is necessary to take steps at your request before entering into a contract and to perform that contract, and on the basis of our legitimate interest in running the business and keeping proper records. Where we rely on your consent, for example to use a photograph of completed work; you can withdraw it at any time.

Who we share it with

Where a job requires it, we may share limited details with trusted trades brought in to help, with suppliers arranging materials or scaffolding, and with our accountant or insurer. Each only receives what they need for that purpose.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to work are kept only as long as they are useful and then deleted. Records relating to completed work are kept for as long as needed to honour the workmanship guarantee and to meet legal and tax obligations.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it, and object to how we use it. Contact us using the details above and we will deal with your request. If you are not satisfied, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.

The enquiry form on this site sends the details you enter directly to us. The map on the contact page is embedded from Google, which may set cookies in your browser under its own privacy terms. We do not use advertising cookies on this site.
