1. About us

SW Roofing & Property Maintenance is operated by Samuel Wildman from the BB8 0JP area, working across Lancashire & West Yorkshire. You can reach us on 07534 748896 or at wildy0121@icloud.com.

2. Quotes

Quotes are free, carry no call-out charge and place you under no obligation. Work is priced on a fixed-price basis as standard, confirmed in writing before it begins. A day rate is only used where a job is genuinely better priced that way, mainly on smaller maintenance work, and this is agreed with you in advance.

A quote covers the work described in it. Where hidden defects are found once work starts, for example rotten timber only visible after a covering is stripped; the additional work and cost are explained and agreed with you before it is carried out.

3. Carrying out the work

Work is carried out by Samuel Wildman with a regular worker, and trusted trades may be used on larger projects. Roofing is weather-dependent: dates may move where conditions make work unsafe or would compromise quality, and you will be kept informed if that happens.

You agree to provide reasonable access to the property and to make us aware of anything relevant, such as fragile structures, services or restrictions affecting scaffolding or parking.

4. Payment

Payment can be made by card, cash or bank transfer. Payment terms, including any deposit towards materials or scaffolding on larger jobs, are set out in your quote and agreed before work begins.

5. Guarantee

All work carries a workmanship guarantee. The length depends on the type of work and is confirmed with your quote. The guarantee covers our workmanship; it does not cover storm damage, accidental damage, wear to parts of the property we did not work on, or defects arising from work carried out by others after we have finished.

6. Insurance

We hold public liability insurance up to £1 million. Details are available with your quote on request.

7. Cancellation

If you wish to cancel agreed work, please tell us as soon as possible. Where materials have already been ordered specifically for your job, or scaffolding has been erected, those costs may be payable. Consumers who agree work away from our business premises have statutory cancellation rights, which are not affected by these terms.

8. Problems and complaints

If something is not right, contact us directly and we will come and look at it. Most issues are resolved quickly when raised early. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.
